Near the beach in Salinas.

Suburbia near Montevideo (Pinar del Mar). This retention pond was only about 100 yards from the beach, but it had some of the most beautiful Gymnogeophagus sp. Sarandi (?). Of course, we also fished out a 4-cyl engine, transmission and some wheels. pH = 7.7; Water temp = 85F; Hardness = 180 ppm.
