Mix anything with Bailey's Irish Cream and the chances are you will have a taste sensation. There seems to be on limit to the number of ingredients you can use. You can even be daring and marry it with other liqueurs.

This is because Bailey's has the interesting ability to bring the components of a cocktail into harmony and make a drink that will be acceptable to many.

But remember, Bailey's is made from fine Irish Whiskey blended skillfully with equally fine Irish cream and so has an alcoholic content high enough to command respect. You might grow fond of its distinctive creamy, chocolate-like taste with that undercurrent of Whiskey but you might not care for it the day after.

 

IRISH SOMBRERO

30 ml Bailey's
30 ml Tequila
2 tsp Coconut milk
Dash of Maraschino
Strawberry

Shake ingredients over ice and strain into a
cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of strawberry.

IRISH BANANA

30 ml Baileys
15 ml Advokaat
30 ml Lena
50 ml cream
half a banana

Blend until smooth and serve in a champagne glass.

OLD BAILEY

60 ml Bailey's
30 ml Coconut milk
30 ml White rum
30 ml Cream

Blend ingredients with ice. Strain into a large brandy balloon.

MARY McGINTY

60 ml Bailey's
15 ml Creme De Cacao
15 ml Coconut milk
15 ml Cream

Blend ingredients over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

LOVING EYES

30 ml Baileys
30 ml Cointreau
60 ml cream

Shake and strain into a champagne glass

FLYING HIGH

30 ml Baileys
30 ml Cointreau
15 ml Galliano or Drambuie

Pour over ice in a small cocktail glass

HOME MAID

15 ml Baileys
30 ml Lena
20 ml Cream
90 ml Milk


Shake and strain into a champagne glass

LAST STRAW

30 ml Baileys
30 ml Cointreau
15 ml Rubis
30 ml Cream
4 Strawberries

Shake and strain into a champagne glass

YELLOW ROSE OF TIPPERARY

30 ml Baileys
30 ml Irish Whiskey
15 ml Cream
15 ml yellow Chartreuse


Blend ingredients except Chartreuse over ice and strain
into a cocktail glass. Float Chartreuse on top.
BAILEY'S IRISH COFFEE

hot black coffee, sugar
45 ml Bailey's
fresh whipped cream
grated chocolate

Three quarter fill a large glass with hot black coffee. Add sugar to taste. Add Bailey's. Float cream on top and decorate with grated chocolate.
