Sweet Potato Pie

2 Eggs
1 Cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons real butter
1 1/2 cups sweet potatoes (cooked, peeled and mashed)
1 unbaked 8 inch pie shell

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Combine eggs, sugar, salt, spices and milk. Mix well, then fold into the mashed sweet potatoes.

Pour into the pie shell and bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue to bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the filling has firmed and is slightly browned.
