This appetizer is so fast and easy, "I can't help it if I'm " in love with it. The Bruschetta is " brushed " with freshly cut garlic to give it that delicious flavor. Patsy loved Italian food and this recipe can be served as an appetizer or as a accompaniment to your favorite Italian meal. Either way, by the time your guests depart for home, they'll look "so satsified."
Slice the Italian bread into 8 nice size slices. Rub the halved garlic gently over the bread. Heat oil in non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, stirring until tender. Add the diced tomato, Italian seasoning and pepper, stir. Spoon tomato mixture over garlic side of bread and broil for about one minute. If desired, you may sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese before broiling. Serve immediately .
