I once knew someone who threw themselves a "Divorce Party", and although that's not a very common thing to do, I think a " Banana Split Cake " would be an appropriate way of celebrating such an event. Combine crumbs, margarine and pecans. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Chill for at least 1/2 hour. Cream the cheese and sugar. Spread over crust. Layer the pineapple, jam and bananas over cream cheese layer. Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle cherries and chopped pecans on top. Refrigerate.
