This Lemon Cheesecake pie is just the sort of pie a young homemaker in the 50s would serve her family. It's not too tangy and not too sweet, but it sure is a dream! I don't know that Patsy had the convenience of ready-made graham cracker pie shells as we do, but with all the conveniences of today, there's isn't any excuse not to make this creamy dream.
You'll need:
In a large bowl, cream the cream cheese and the butter. Add the sugar,flour, milk and eggs and mix well. Add the lemon juice and peel. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees in a pre-heated oven for about 45 minutes. Chill and serve.
