There are many recipes for Rum Balls, but the one I present this week is a family recipe given to me by my cousin Leilani. These cookies are very simple to make and I am sure you'll enjoy them. As a teen, I spent days at a time visiting Leilani's parents, my Aunt Laurie and Uncle Lenny, who also happened to have a huge record collection. Among their vast collection was the music of my favorite singer, Patsy Cline. Fond memories. Good cookies. Fabulous Music!
Melt 2 tbs. of butter and add it to 1/4 cup of dark rum. Take each cooled rum ball, drop into the buttered rum and the roll in confectioner's sugar.
