Recipe of Week ~ " Make the Rum Successful" Rum Balls

There are many recipes for Rum Balls, but the one I present this week is a family recipe given to me by my cousin Leilani. These cookies are very simple to make and I am sure you'll enjoy them. As a teen, I spent days at a time visiting Leilani's parents, my Aunt Laurie and Uncle Lenny, who also happened to have a huge record collection. Among their vast collection was the music of my favorite singer, Patsy Cline. Fond memories. Good cookies. Fabulous Music!

Combine the above ingredients and roll dough into balls. Dip each ball in the rum. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool.

Melt 2 tbs. of butter and add it to 1/4 cup of dark rum. Take each cooled rum ball, drop into the buttered rum and the roll in confectioner's sugar.
