As you can tell from the above photo, the love letters have already been washed away!

Song of Week 4/14/00 ~ "Love Letters in the Sand"
Recipe of the Week ~ " Sand " Bars

Want to know a nice way to " pass the time away " ? Bake up a batch of tasty " sandbar " cookies! These are so simple to make and are an interesting departure from basic bar cookies. Bar cookies are still as popular now as they were back in the '50s and early '60s when Patsy was doing her baking! They travel well and make a nice snack to take along with you to the seashore. Enjoy!
