Song of the Week ~ San Antonio Rose
Recipe of the Week ~ " Tips So Sweet and Tender " ~ Sirloin Tips Over Rice

Whenever I think of Texas, the first person who comes to mind is Lisa, The Homesick Texan, webmistress of Patsified! Because Lisa has always told me how much Texans love beef, I thought a beef dish would be quite appropriate to present as a recipe of the week based on a song that bears the name of a city in Texas ~ San Antonio. And while you're at it, for dessert, why not have a slice of your favorite fruit pie with a dollop of ice cream on top -- Pie Alamo!
