Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder together. In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, oil, vanilla and buttermilk. Add the buttermilk mix to the flour-sugar mixture and blend well. Then add the raisins. Divide the batter into two equal parts and pour into two 8 " x 4 "x 2 1/2" greased loaf pans. Bake on center rack in oven for about 45 - 50 minutes or until a cake tester stick comes out clean. Cool pan on rack for approximately 15 minutes before removing from pan.
Serve plain or with butter. It's delicious!!
