These cookies are my husband's favorites!
DOUGH:
8 oz. sour cream
2.5 cups of flour
1.5 sticks of butter
1 egg yolk
Combine all he above ingredients, wrap in waxed paper. Chill in refrigerator over night, or at least 10 hours
FILLING:
3 oz. almonds ( crushed or processed)
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 stick of melted butter
Combine the almonds, sugar and cinnamon. Slowly add the melted butter until the mixture is sticking together slightly. Take a small piece of dough and roll into a ball, and then roll out into a circle about 1/8th " thick, on a lightly floured surface. Gently sprinkle the filling lightly over the dough. Cut like a pizza - into 1/4" triangular pieces. Roll up from the wider side like a cresent roll. Bake for about 25 minutes at 350 degrees
