FINANCIAL INFORMATION


  EXPENSES - TUITION FEES

The charges for the academic year of 1998-1999 are as follows:- 

 

a) Degree Programs Rs. 750

b) Associate Degree Program Rs. 750

 

The deposit fee is only payable by new registering students for the use of library, computer and other facilities. The deposit, less the cost of damage, if any, will be refunded at the end of each course. However, the admission test fee is payable at the time of application and is non-refundable. All fees must be paid in the form of pay order drawn in favor of "Textile University of Pakistan". Satisfactory settlement of all expenses is a requirement for completing each semester’s registration and no student is officially enrolled until all past dues have been satisfied. Special arrangements must be made if the student cannot pay the fees in full.

 

 FULL - TIME FEES

Students enrolled in 12 semester hours or more are considered full-time students. The above tuition fees per semester applies.

  

PART - TIME FEES

Students enrolled in 11 semester hours or less are considered part-time students. The tuition fees per semester hour are 4,000 rupees. However, students not working towards a degree may enroll in class at a reduced rate of Rs. 2,000 per semester hour.

 

 REFUND OF TUITION FEES

No refunds will be made on semester’s tuition fees after four weeks from the first day of class. To be eligible for a refund, the Finance Office of the Institute must receive the student's request in writing.

 Beginning with the first day of class, refunds for periods of four weeks or less for the current semester will be made on the following basis:

 

1-One week or less 80% refunded

2-More than one week 60% refunded

   (not more than two weeks)

3-More than two weeks 40% refunded

    (not more than three weeks)

4-More than three weeks 20% refunded

    (not more than four weeks)

5-More than four weeks 80% refunded
