My current project involves the extension of the client's existing UK Sales & Distribution system to support a European supply chain for their products via local sales organisations. This has also included the addition of a new warehouse in Europe operated by a third party distributor. We recently went live with order entry in the first country to be implemented, and are about to receive initial stock into the new warehouse prior to shipping the first deliveries.
Well, the warehouse is up and running and here are the pictures to prove it! This is me holding the first Picking Note to print, with Steve doing his best Alfred Hitchcock with the camera.
Here are the boys from the warehouse looking relieved that they finally have some work…
...and this is it. The first delivery, picked, packed, labelled and ready to ship...Wow!
