Ingredients
175g (6 oz) plain chocolate, broken
10 oz single cream
2 oz caster sugar
1 tsp peppermint flavouring
Vanilla Ice-Cream for Serving (optional)
Method
Place chocolate, cream, sugar in a saucepan and heat gently until chocolate has melted and sugar dissolved. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer uncovered for 2 minutes, then stir in the peppermint flavouring.
Serve on top of Vanilla Ice-Cream, if desired
