1 - 22.5 oz brownie mix (or any family size mix) 1 - 4.6 oz pkg. Andes chocolate mints 2 - 9 inch regular pie crusts, unbaked 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Break the mints into small pieces and stir into mix. Stir in the chopped walnuts. Pour the brownie mix into the two pie shells. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until brownie is set. Do not over bake or the brownie will get tough. You almost want it to be a just a little gooey inside. Remove the pies from the oven and allow to cool or serve warm with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge topping for a double dose of chocolate delight!
