Taco Shells

These shells are similar to a crepe but much more elastic if made properly.  It will take some time to learn how to do this if you have never made a crepe.

3 eggs, beaten
1 cup flour
1/2 cup yellow corn meal
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tbls butter, melted
1 1/2 cup milk

 

Combine all ingredients and wisk well.
Spray a hot crepe pan or skillet with a little oil.
Place enough of the above mixture in the pan to just cover bottom of pan and cook until stiff enough to turn.
Turn and cook a little longer.  It should not be golden all over.
