Description
Cilantro is an annual or a biennial herb native to the Mediterrian basin. The plant was cultivated in Egypt over 3,500 years ago. It has flat-lobed leaves that look much like parsley. You can usually identify it by it's strong smell when fresh.

Preparation and Serving
Cilantro is used as a seasoning or garnish much like parsley. It used around the world in many different foods. It can also be brewed into a tea.
