Garlic is believed to have originated somewhere in Siberia and spread to the Middle-East and Europe. Garlic comes in a bulb made up of a cluster of 12 to 16 cloves. It's color can range from white to pink to purple.
Preparation and Serving
Garlic is used in a wide variety of dishes from many different cultures. It can be stored in a cool, dry place for several months and can be frozen as is, after removing the outer skin, for about 2 months.
