Andrew was born September 13, 1997. As you can see in this
photo he was born with an attitude. He was two days old here and already posing.
Here's our first family photo. This is day one and the first
time Lori had been out of bed since the c-section. None of us had slept more than a couple
hours.
I finished these chests myself. You can also see the cute rocking horse
border. The organizer basket on the chest was made by my mom.
Here's the crib, a hand-me-down from Lori's family. It's seen five babies
and amazingly ... it's still in fine shape. You can also see we got the full theme package
(border, diaper bag, crib set, valance) at Babies R Us. This is a neat teddy hand crafted
by a friend of my aunt. He's fully articulated like a traditional teddy. The rocking horse
and teddy are the theme in the border and on the sheets.
Here's
Lori a week before the baby. The rocking chair is a family heirloom from my mother's side.
It's a nice big chair. The cross stiched prayer (Now I lay me down to sleep ...) on the
wall was done by my mother when she was pregnant with me!
Happy daddy at 3 AM still wearing the scrubs from the
surgery. Note the hardwood floors in the labor and delivery rooms.
Happy daddy after a few hours of sleep
Happy Grandma feeding Andrew
Happy Grandpa. I slept in that recliner three nights!
