Comments: I find the best way to bake a tater is to wash and scrub well. Wrap it generously and tight in clear wrap. Put it in the Microwave oven until soft, Remove wrap and broil under the grill to give the skin some texture. Do not prick the tater at all, it lets out the moisture that is needed to cook the tater. Believe me it works!!!!

Comments: I have been coming to Mintons for quite a while now. Roger always manages to stay calm and relaxed, even when pandemonium breaks out in the kitchen! The home baking is wonderful, Judy does an excellent job. I feel that everyone's needs are catered for. Th y have such lovely girls working for them, always smiling and willing to help, I cannot thank you enough lovely atmosphere created in both the tearoom and gardens.
