39 Orange Street

Something happened to bring me down
But I can't remember when
So I'm trying to go back in time
Walk that line again

Something's telling me that this all started
On 39 Orange Street
That's this place where all my friends
At some time or another would meet

But no one lives there now of course
After all it's been seven years
It's just a house where people go
When they're trying to switch gears

It's the house they find from an older friend
With a doctor's office below
And the only way to get rid of it
Is to give it to someone you know

And when I knock on that front door
The landlady thinks I'm crazy
And when I ask to see you, she says
"My God, it's one of those days"
