We had our own float in the parade. We called it the Ceili Truck. Bob Callahan, W1QWT, played guitar and tin whistle; Lynnel Lyons, Eric Olsen, and Diane Griffin played fiddle; Ralph Butler, N1ZWQ, played bodhran; Peter Burrows drove the truck; and Ho, KC1HO, threw out candy. We played songs such as "McAlpines Fusilers, The Cliffs of Doneen, and a few jigs and reels. We were in a black pick up truck. After the parade we went back to Peters house for a party. We had Colcannon, corn beef and cabbage, Irish whiskey cake, pocheen, and Guinness. Peter and Q went out for a spin around his back yard in his restored Morgan.
