KIDS' MEATLOAF

Kids' Meatloaf
Serves 6

Ingredients:
3 slices soft White Bread, broken into small pieces
1 cup Milk
1 large Egg
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 cup Onion, Minced
1 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef

Pre-heat oven to 350-F degrees.

In a large mixing bowl stir together the bread pieces, milk, egg, salt, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce.
Add the ground beef and thoroughly mix all ingredients with freshly washed and dried hands.

Shape the loaf to neatly fit into a 9-inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.

Remove from oven and let stand for about 5 minutes. Slice to serve.

Tips: There is an endless variety of what you can do with your special meatloaf recipe to make it all your own. Try a "hot topper" by spreading 3 tablespoons of catsup, chili sauce, or even salsa over the top of your meatloaf before baking.

If you like to hide things, hard-boil 3 eggs and tuck them into the center of your meatloaf; it makes a striking presentation when sliced and served.

Ever try frosted meatloaf?
Use last night's softened mashed potatoes and spread them over the top of the meatloaf after it's baked for an hour.
Then just broil it in the oven until the potatoes are heated through and golden brown.

Prepare baby meatloaf mixtures.
Simply use 6 small or mini loaf pans or tins.
Evenly distribute the meatloaf mixture into the tins.
Bake for an hour with a thin slice of onion on the top of each little loaf, and everybody gets their own portion of meatloaf when it's done!
