Easy Chicken Cordon Blue
Quick and Easy Chicken Cordon Blue
Fast and delicious
Serve with wild rice or new potatoes and fresh steamed green beans. Simply Great!
Ingredients
- 4 Medium Boneless Chicken Breasts
- 1 pkg Buddig Honey Ham
- 4 slices cream havarti cheese(or your favorite)
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- toothpicks
- a BIG hammer, (actually a tenderizing mallet)
- oil/butter
- Pound Chicken until flat
- Lightly salt/pepper both sides of chicken
- on each breast put a slice or two of ham and a slice of cheese
- fold in 1/2 and use toothpick to keep it all together
- Heat butter in skillet on medium heat
- Cook chicken on both sides until it turns a golden brown
- On last phase of frying, melt a little more cheese on top sprinkled with just a touch of parsley.(makes it look great!)
- Serve on top of a bed of rice (wild or white)
- The vegetable that accompanies should be very colorful, fresh steamed green beans are great!
