CHILLI
Chilli
Ingredients :
3 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 - 15.5 oz. can Bush's louisiana chilli beans
1 - 15.5 oz. can Bush's mexican chilli beans
1 c. onions (chopped)
2 jalapeno peppers (diced)
1 long green hot pepper (chopped)
4 tbls. chilli powder
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 (heaping) tbls. cumin
2 - 12 oz. cans beer (optinal)
Directions :
Remove rind from hot peppers. Keep about 1/2 tbls. of seeds.
Dice & set aside. Chop onions and set aside. Heat a dutch oven
pot on high heat. Add beef and brown. Remove beef from pot and
discard the beef juices/fat from pot. Return beef to pot. Add the
rest of the ingred. Mix througherly. Cover & simmer for 2 hours.
Stir often. If the chilli gets a little dry add 1/2 c. more water.
