PORK CHOPS WITH MARMALADE SAUCE
Ingredience :
5 boneless pork chops (loin cut if possible)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. scallions (chopped)
3/4 c. sweet orange marmalade
2 tbls. butter or margarine
Directions :
Remove fat from chops. Season on both sides with salt &
pepper. Set Aside. To heated frying pan add butter/margarine
Add chops & brown on both sides. Remove chops from pan & set
aside. To same pan add the rest of the ingred. Mix well. Add
chops. Cook uncovered on low heat for 35 min. Stir OFTEN as
sauce will stick if not stirred. Remove chops from pan &
place on serving dish. Stir sauce. Remove from pan & place
in gravy bowl.Top chops with sauce when served.
