Frosted Banana Bars
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar. Beat in bananas & vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder & eggs; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15-in.-10-in.-1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350' for 25 minutes or until bars test done. Cool.
Frosting
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Cream butter & cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Gradually add confectioners' sugar & vanilla; beat well. Spread over bars.
