7-UP POUND CAKE
3 c. cake flour
7 eggs
1 tsp. lemon flavor
3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
3/4 c. 7-Up
Cream butter and sugar together until smooth. Add eggs,
one at a time, and beat after each. Stir in flour, 1 cup at a
time. Continue beating while adding. Add flavor. With spoon,
stir in 7-Up.
Important: Do not beat after adding 7-UP. Bake
at 325 degrees in pound cake or Bundt pan for approximately 1 1/2
hours.
