Best Pineapple Cake

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda              
2 c. sugar
1c. chopped walnuts            
2 eggs
1tsp. vanilla                
1 lg.can crushed pineapple, undrained.     
                         
Mix all ingredients together, stirring with wooden spoon.  pour into a
greased 9x13 in. pan and bake at 350 deg. for 35 min.
       
                "FROSTING"
8 oz. cream cheese       
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 c. dk. brown sugar    
1 stick margarine

Beat with electric mixer until smooth and creamy, spread on warm cake,
poke with a fork to allow some of the frosting to seep into the cake.
sprinkle more nuts on top if desired.
