CARAMEL LAYER CAKE
Ingredients :
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
5 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp.
Preparation :
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Gradually add eggs and flour and
milk. Add vanilla. Bake in three round pans, lined with waxed
paper, approximately 25 minutes.
Frost with caramel icing (see recipe).
