RED VELVET POUND CAKE
one box butter-flavored yellow cake mix
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 stick butter, softened
3 eggs
1 cup water
Mix everything well.
1 bottle red food coloring (1oz.)
Add to the mixture and mix well. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan that has
been coated with nonstick vegetable spray. Bake 350 degrees for 35 to
40 minutes til done. Let cool for 15 minutes then invert on a rack to
cool completely.
Make frosting - whip together 1 package cream cheese, 1/2 stick butter,
1.1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1 Tbsp. milk.
Frost the cake.
