Delicious Rum Cake

 

1 yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup dark rum (Captain Morgan's)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs, slightly beaten

Mix all ingredients together. Beat all above ingredients with an electric
mixer for two minutes. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake
at 350 degrees F. for 50-60 minutes. Remove from oven. Let stand for
five minutes. Pour the following hot rum glaze over the cake and let it
absorb into it. Let cool in pan for 30 minutes and then turn onto a cake
plate.

Hot Rum Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup rum

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.

Note: You won't believe how good your house will smell while this is baking!
