Back To School Cookies
1 c. Crisco 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 c. molasses 3/4 c. undiluted evaporated milk or 1 c. sour cream 3 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. raisins 1 c. nuts 3/4 tsp. vinegar Cream Crisco and sugar. Add egg and molasses; beat well. Stir in vinegar, sour cream or evaporated milk. Mix and sift dry ingredients; add to molasses mixture. Drop from teaspoon on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen.
