Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 c Golden Crisco
1 1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 c coarsly chopped pecans leave out
and add 1 c more chips .

1. Preheat oven to 375 f

2. Cream crisco sugar and vanilla in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer for 2 min or well blended and creamy add eggs beating 1 min till thorougly blended 4 .combine flour salt and baking soda add to creamed mixture gradually beating on low speed for1 minute or just until blended

5. Stir in choc chips and pecans

6. Drop by heaping spoonfuls(2 tbsps) on ungreased cookie sheets leaving about 3" between cookies they spread alot

7. Bake one cookie sheet at a time at 375 f for 8 to10 minutes for chewy or 11 to
13 mins for crisp (I cook till lightly brown about 7 minutes in my oven)
cookies will still appear moist do not over bake! Cool 2 mins on sheet place foil on counter .
remove cookies to foil and cool completely makes 3-4 dozen cookies
