6 sweet potatoes
1/3 cup soft butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup bourbon
1/2 cup all purpose cream or canned evaporated milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
pinch of salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans sauteed in 1/2 Tbsp butter
Boil potatoes until tender, aprox 30 minutes whole. Peel and mash. Beat in butter, sugar, cream, bourbon, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Add more cream if need for a soft creamy texture. Adjust seasonings to taste and top with sauteed pecans.
