Georgia Peach Cobbler

Combine fruit with sugar in a bowl. Put butter in a 11 by 8 by 2 1/2 inch baking dish. Place in a 350 degree oven to melt butter. It should be bubbly, but not brown.

Combine flour and milk, and pour over butter in dish. Spoon fruit over top, without mixing it in. Sprinkle with nutmeg. DO NOT STIR. Return to oven and bake for 1 hour, until cobbler is golden brown.

*NOTE - to make your own self rising flour, add 1 t. baking powder and 1/4 t. salt to 3/4 C. of all purpose flour
