Heavenly Pie
From the kitchen of: Sherry Thompson, Winona, Mississippi

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts
2 sticks margarine
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 large carton Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling


Combine flour, nuts and margarine. Pat into 13-by-9-inch pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Mix cream cheese and sugar well, and fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cool crust and spread cherry pie filling over top. Chill for several hours--if you can wait that long.
