Grandma Aggie's Fruit Salad
1 bunch red seedless grapes
2 large naval oranges, peeled and sectioned
2 red Delicious apples
1 20 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained
1 large banana, sliced
1 small jar maraschino cherries
1/2 bag miniature marshmallows
1 large container Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream
The day before: cut all the grapes in half into a large bowl. Cut orange sections into bite size pieces into same bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night.
The next day: Core apples, cut into 1/2" slices and then into bite size pieces. Slice banana. Sprinkle apples and bananas with lemon juice to keep from discoloring; add to fruit bowl; drain pineapple; cut cherries in half. Add pineapple, cherries and marshmallows to fruit bowl. Mix well; Add Cool Whip and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
