Super Super Marinade/Tenderizer Sauce


1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon dry sherry or dry white wine
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)


Mix cornstarch, sherry, soy sauce, salt, sugar, baking soda
and water. Add thinly sliced beef, chicken or pork. Cover
and let sit in refrigerator from 1 hour to overnight.



VARIATION:
1. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic salt.
2. Add 1 teaspoon hickory flavored liquid smoke.

An excellent tenderizer for beef, chicken or pork,
especially when using it for a stir-fry recipe. This will
give meat a delicious flavor and tenderize it at the same
time.
