English Rock Cakes

16 oz. flour
6 oz butter
4 oz sugar
1 oz candied peel (orange/lemon)
2 t baking powder
2 eggs
4 oz sultanas (baking raisins)/raisins/currants
1 T milk.

Beat the eggs. Add the milk. Stir in all other ingredients only until just
damp (don't beat the living daylights out of it, these are supposed to
resemble rocks!!). It will not be a smooth mixture. Butter a largish cookie
sheet. Drop little heaps on sheet, leaving them rough looking. Bake at 325 F
(approx.) for about 10-12 minutes. Makes approx. 12 cakes. These will be HARD!
