INGREDIENTS
Place the cleaned mussels in a bowl of water with the ice and the flour.

3-4 lbs. mussels (cleaned)
2 T. flour
12-18 ice cubes
2 celery stalks(quarters)
1 small onion (rings)
6 parsley sprigs
4 dill sprigs
1 cup white wine
1 cup water
Let the mussels "feed" on the flour for 30-40 minutes.
Pour the wine and the cup of water into a pot with a steamer basket.
Place the mussels into the basket, then place the other ingredients atop the mussels.
Cover and steam until all the mussels have opened (about 10 minutes).
May be served with drawn butter.
