Hummus

2 Cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cooked chickpeas, drained (can use canned)
4 Tbl lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
3 Tbl tahini
2 Tbl water
Paprika

Combine first six ingredients in food processor or blender and blend until smooth.  Add more water, if necessary, to create a smooth paste.  Transfer to small serving dish and sprinkle with paprika.

Jo's Comments: This is an extremely easy dish, especially if canned chick peas are used.   I've made more complicated recipes, but they really don't taste much different.  It's very good!  Serve wtih vegetables or torn pita bread.   But be warned:  your breath could scare off vampires!
