October, 2001 This was my fourth wedding cake, again for SCA friends.
The cake was covered in buttercream, then in Blanc (ivory) Choco-Pan brand fondant. Leaves were made of a mixture of gumpaste and fondant by rolling it thin, cutting around the outline of a real leaf, and using the real leaf to vein the gumpaste one. After drying, leaves were tinted with petal dusts for a more realistic look. Most layers are different flavors
