Magda's First Wedding Cake


November, 1997

This was my first wedding cake, done for a good friend. The french vanilla cake was filled with chocolate bavarian cream, covered with rolled fondant, and decorated with buttercream icing. The roses on the side cakes were made ahead of time with royal icing.

The individual layers were transported in boxes (since it was snowing on the day of the wedding) and assembled on site at which time the final borders and roses were added.
