I cannot possibly thank Greg and Shelly enough for allowing me to be involved in such a wonderful week of fun and food. Powderhorn has become my home away from home...and I look forward every year to this working vacation. I will never forget the past two years, and I eagerly await the next.

Many thanks again to Sam and Lisa Bracken from Facing West. They not only provided a wonderful day of food and laughs (way to flambe in a doorway!), but Sam organized the food deliveries, making this year much smoother from an operational standpoint.

Besides Sam and Lisa Bracken....This year included masterful works by Chris Bowie of The Villa at Palmer Lake (parade that lamb!), Chris Adrian of La Petite Maison, Chip Johnson of the Briarhurst (Best Elk Ever...in the history of the world...seriously), and my little French Wine and Cheese Tour. Whew! What a week! And what a blast!

I remain in awe of my fellow chefs, as well as Greg and Shelly for making it happen, and their unbelievable staff...a special thanks to Craig for recording my hot tub antics, and William for being the suave horse-master that he is. You guys really made the week special. Even the square-dancing was fun. And as for Emily and Darla....Thank you for the dances ladies.
