Scientific evidence suggests that up to 30 to 40% of cancer deaths occurring annually in the United States may be due to unhealthy eating habits, sedantry life styles etc. Eating a varied diet of at least five servings of vegetables and fruits each day has been consistently found to be associated with reduced risk of cancer. Numerous scientific studies have concluded that plant derived nutrients (phytochemicals) have cancer preventative properties. So it is in your hand to take control of your life, and prevent cancer by eating healthy diets.
