Sausage and Apple Stuffing
1lb sausagemeat
3 cooking apples, peeled,cored, and chopped
1 onion, chopped
8oz fresh white breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
pinch of pepper
Brown the sausagemeat and remove from the pan. Pour off all but 4 tablespoons of fat. Add the apples and onion , and cook until tender. Stir in the sausagemeat and remaining ingredients. Enough for a 10lb turkey.
