PASTA
You
would think that the pasta is a simple dish to cook ...
it
is!
BUT
make sure of a few things:
-
Have
enough boiling water in the pan. When you throw the pasta in the pan there
should be at least four inches left on the top.
-
Always
remember to stir the pasta often enough so that it will not stick together,
but a good tip is one spoon of olive oil in the boiling water.
-
Never
overcook the pasta!!! This is the most important rule of all. The consistency
of the pasta has to be soft and hard at the same time, enough to be able
to cut the pasta with a fork and see in between a little white area not
cooked. Plus, it is always better a little less cooked than overcook because
then you toss it in the pan with your sauce and stir for a few minutes
over the stove.
