SCENIC THEATRE, PICTURES FROM THE 1940'S.I recently acquired these pictures of the Scenic Theater. The only information on these pictures is SCENIC THEATER - 1940'S. Is there anybody out there who can identify the people in these pictures? Please email me if you have any information. In the golden days of movies, the theater was nothing short of an impressive palace. Going to a movie was a chance for a person to escape reality by sitting in the luxury of velvet seats and tapestries, fancy walls, and soaring ceilings.

This man has been identified as Edgar Edgerly, I have been told his nickname was Shorty |

This person was named Eddie Couture and he was the doorman |

This was Fred York the projectionist- He continued to work at the theatre thru the 1970's. One of his first jobs was to run the film reels between the two theatres when the same film was being shown at both theatres in town. |
