VIETNAM WAR 1961-1975
The Vietnam war claimed over 58,000 American lives and wounded over 300,000 American soldiers.
11,465 of the Killed in Action were less than 20 years old and five of the KIA was only 16 years old.
Unlike other wars the soldier that returned home would not receive a victory parade or any public sentiment of graditude.
Most of the following information about Rochester men in the Vietnam War was researched
by the nice people at the Rochester Library. Without their efforts this page would not have been possible.
The following is not a complete list of Vietnam War Soldiers, but it is a start. Please email me if you know of
any soldiers that should be placed on it.
